Age of Ultron Book 10 Review!!!!

I'm not even going to beat around the bush. No introductions. This book was garbage. I was so dissapointed. If I could rather watch the Spawn movie, (I probably wouldn't), but you get it! This book was confusing, underwhelming, and the ending just made me think "WHAT WAS THE POINT?" You gave me 4 good books, brought in time travel (which ruins everything), and insult me by making me think this was going to change the Marvel Universe forever! That's how they presented it! THIS SHOULD'VE BEEN TERMINATOR IN THE MARVEL UNIVERSE!!! The deaths didn't matter, the twists didn't matter, oh yeah, AND THE WHOLE EVENT DIDN'T MATTER!!!

Ok, let's get into this.... *deep breath* story.

The book starts with Hank Pym, doing something unimportant, and so uninteresting the book doesn't even get into it, for it knows it's stupid. He gets a message to open his door. He opens it seeing a package with no messenger. Turns out the Invisible Woman brought the package. If you notice the first BIG problem of this book it's that you don't know what is going on. This opening has nothing to do with the ending of the last book. Where's the big Ultron prototype? Where did that go? You know what? I don't care.

When he opens the package it's a video of him talking to him. He tells him what will happen unless they do something fast. We then cut to a story that was released almost 3 years ago. This little issue was a lead up to Age of Ultron. The only good thing about this is the art. It's awesome to see Bryan Hitch back in this series. I loved the art. So as the years old issue goes on Ultron returns. Next page we go to some different art work. Before Ultron escaped Hank Pym put a virus into his system.... ok. This is the chance for the Avengers to destroy the machine. So they fight, fight, fight. Fight, fight, fight. Fight, fight, fight, fight, fight, and Thor destroys him. Great, that means it's over right? Right guys? NO! NO! NO GOD PLEASE NO! NOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

We cut to a bunch of stupid universal stuff happening, involving the Ultimate Marvel Universe getting 616 Galactus, Angela from Spawn coming out of no where, and bla bla bla bla bla!

I'm underwhelmed and tired. This was bad. Confusing, bad story telling, and if you're going to read it, DON'T! This is a LEAVE IT ON THE SHELF!!!

Robert Downey Jr. is back!!!!

Out of all the recent news that has come out this week; this is what I am most happy about! I'm not going to go on about why I think he's the best Iron Man, because it's not a very original opinion.
RDJ is locked for Avengers 2 and 3!!! Thank god! What do you think? Comment or share the post!

Maary Jane isn't going to be in The Amazing Spider-Man 2!!!

So... Sony has confirmed that Shailene Woodley's role as Mary Jane has been cut from Amazing Spider-Man 2, even though she's already been hired, she's given some of her time, and she's already shot some scenes. What are they going to do with those scenes they have cut, and how will this decision affect the story of the sequel? I am not a fan of this decision. She signed on, and isn't going to get her chance to shine until the third movie. If they are doing this they'd better have a good reason. Let's read the reason below:

Despite shooting a handful of scenes as Mary Jane Watson in Sony’s The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Shailene Woodley will not be appearing in the superhero sequel after all, the studio confirms. The Mary Jane character – the most famous of Peter Parker’s comic book love interests – will instead be pushed to the third film so that the rebooted franchise can focus on the relationship between Peter (Andrew Garfield) and Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) first established in 2012′s The Amazing Spider-Man."

“I made a creative decision to streamline the story and focus on Peter and Gwen and their relationship,” director Marc Webb explained in a statement. “Shailene is an incredibly talented actress and while we only shot a few scenes with Mary Jane, we all love working with her.” It’s unclear if Woodley’s already-filmed scenes will be saved for use in the third film, which has a ways to go before it hits theaters in 2016.

Well that's perfect. Oh well, guess we won't see our favorite red head until 2016. What do you think? Comment or share the post!

The Amazing Spider-Man 3 and 4 Release dates!!!

Today it was confirmed that there will be more Spidey adventures! It was confirmed by Sony that The Amazing Spider-Man 3 and 4 will be coming out. They also confirmed the release dates. ASM3 will be coming out on June 10, 2016, and ASM4 will be coming out on May 4, 2018. I wonder what villains they'll use. We know Rhino and Electro will be there for ASM2, but who else could they do in these next sequels?  Maybe for the 3rd movie we'll get Green Goblin, and the 4th we could get someone new. I can't say I'm the biggest fan of Venom. I'd prefer to see a different villain for ASM4, if he is in it. I alwayes wanted to see Mysterio, or Kraven. I thought Mysterio would be there for the second movie, but that's not going to happen.

(Oh and by the way. Can someone tell me if it's true that Vulture is going to be in the second movie. I haven't been paying attention to that since I don't think that's a very interesting character. I don't have anything against him; I just think he's pretty rediculous. He's an old guy who fly's in some weird costume. Remember when Sony said that Vulture was going to be in Spider-Man 4, and alot of people were mad about that? Why would they do that again? Weird.
Anyway what do you think? Are you excited; are you not? Comment or share the post!

Man of Steel Review!!! Oh yeah, SPOILERS!!!

Up, UP, AND AWAY!!! I saw this movie yesterday, and I'll tell you right now.... I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!! This movie is so awesome, and it's very cool to look at. The visual effects have so much detail, and (at times) can look like one of the comic book's come to life. As you can probably tell, I love the visuals of this movie, but don't get me started on the cinematography. That was beautiful! The times where it just looks great are on Krypton, and at the Kent Farm. Zack Snyder (the director) deserves a freaking crown. Oh, and so does Chris Nolan.

I don't understand why people were so up tight about Zack Snyder directing it. He has done some bad movies like "Sucker Punch", but he also did some good ones such as "300, Watchmen (which I thought was good), and Owl's of Gauhul." But everyone shut up when they heard that Christopher Nolan was going to be the producer. Nolan did movies that alot of people love, such as "The Dark Knight, Inception, and Batman Begins." Everyone said "Oh, that's awesome! He's gonna show Snyder how it's done! No more of this slow motion crap! This is how you do it!" First of all, Nolan was not going to be directing the movie. He was only the producer. Second, there weren't any slow motion shots in that whole movie!

You can clearly see what side of the argument I was on. Enough of that negativity, let's get into what you've been waiting for! This is Superman Begins! Wait.... oh, I mean Man of Steel.

THE MOVIE

The story is the begining of Superman. It's his first adventure which just happens to do with the end of the world. Jor-El (Russel Crowe) has an idea of how to save the dieing world of Krypton. He speaks to the Major Council, but his rant is interupted by General Zod (Michael Shannon). Zod has started his coup to save the world as well. It seems that he and Jor-El are on the same side of the coin, although Zod is doing it the wrong way.

The first thing I noticed was this new version of Zod that I have seen. The last best Zod was played by Terrance Stamp in Superman 2. This guy just wanted to take over, and kill Superman. The new Zod is the "people's man." He is doing this so his Kryptonian brothers and sisters can live. When Krypton is destroyed he is looking for a new place for his people to live. When he finds the place, I doubt he WOULDN'T rule them. Oh well, back to the story.

Zod asks Jor-El to join them in their conquest. Jor-El says no and is taken into custody by Zod. Jor-El escapes (in a very badass way). I'm not going to lie... I cried in the Krypton scenes, especially in Jor-El's escape. It's just so beautiful, and it's so alien. He get's home to his wife Laura (the french lady from Angels and Demons) and they get ready to send their son, Kal-El, to Earth. Zod comes to stop them. He is being a real jerk about it. Jor-El is tired of this and they start to fight. Who knew Jor-El was so good at fighting? He knocks Zod to his knees! Zod is still a jerk, and he kills Jor-El. The rocket is launched and on it's way to Earth.

Zod is captured and is on trial. He tell's Laura that he will find her son. I gotta tell you, that's one of my favorite scenes. I think it's a reference to the first scene in the first Superman movie. Instead of "YOU WILL KNEEL BEFORE ME!" we got "I WILL FIND HIM!" Zod is sent to the Negative Zone, and one scene later, Krypton is destroyed. That is one of the most beautiful scenes in the whole movie. It feel's like the end of a world.

33 years later we see Clark Kent (Henry Cavill) who is a nomad of sorts. He keeps his identity a secret, for when he was younger he caused alot of accidents which had to do with his powers. I love the way his origin is told. It's in a series of flashbacks. That saves us 30 minuites of origin. For the people who wish they were Superman growing up, this just shows you how scary it actually is. I'm not going to say what it is, because I still can't sleep.

Clark is traveling so much. He's saving people's lives, keeping low, and minding his buissness. He works at a military station in the Antartic. Who comes to the base? Lois Lane (Amy Adams) comes to report about an unkown object in the ice. Clark goes to see it himself, but Lois is following him. It turns out that it's a Kryptonian ship, that just happens to have his Superman suit. He turns the ship on and see's a hologram of his father. They're talking and Clark finds out who he is, where he came from, and who Zod is.

Lois is looking around in the ship, but is attacked. She is bleeding, so Clark has to cordorize the wound. He starts the ship and leaves. We then see Lois at the Daily Planet talking to Perry White (Lawerence Fishburne) about wanting to publish the story about Clark. He says no, but that doesn't stop her from looking into this. She finds out that his name is Clark Kent and he's been using different names through out his life. I really liked that. It just shows how smart Lois really is, and we also don't have to wait 2 movies for her to find out that Superman and Clark are the same person.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG Story short. Zod comes, he wants Superman, Superman and Zod fight (which is awesome), Supe's fights tentacles, Fayora, and Zod. Oh, and here's the BIG controversial thing. In the final fight between Zod and Clark, they are going throughout the city. They end up in a big building. Clartk has Zod by the head, and he tells him to stop fighting. Zod says "Never." and aims his laser vision at a family. Clark is yelling "NO!" and he snaps Zods neck. That took me by surprise. My mouth was open. So many people are saying "HECK NO! SUPERMAN WOULD NEVER DO THAT!" What I say is.... He didn't have any choice! Zod was going to kill a family, so there was no other way to stop him. It's not like Superman snapped his neck, pissed in his mouth, and said yelled "SUCK IT!" Oh, and by the way! By the way! Didn't Superman push Zod into an endless pit in Superman 2? Where were these angry comments then?

So, back to the long story short. When this whole invasion is over, Clark tells Ma Kent that he needs to get a job. The last shot of the movie is Lois telling Clark "Welcome to the Planet.", for he is wearing the iconic glasses and is the Clark Kent we all know.

WARNING!!! DO NOT STAY AFTER THE CREDITS!!! THERE IS NOTHING THERE!!! I stayed there for 6 minuites waiting for something, but nothing was there. I wanted to see a little scene leading to something else. Maybe we could see Supergirl, maybe even Lex Luthor. I don't know. Oh and did you guys see those little easter eggs? Where the truck said "Lexcorp", and the satellite said "Wayne Tech?" Thank god they did that! That just shows that this is a bigger universe than we know.

I only had 2 problems in the whole movie. That's less problems than I had with the Avengers, and I love the Avengers. The first problem was that someparts felt rushed like, Clark turning into Superman like that, and the Lois and Clark relationship. The second was.... you know... I can't think of anything! That's just shows how much fun I had in this!

I thought Henry Cavill was great as Superman, Russell Crowe had an emotion, and was better than Marlon Brando, and this movie alone redeems Superman's cinematic adventures. This is the best Superman movie ever, and it's a BADA$$ MOTHEREFFIN' BADA$$!!!

John C. Reilly is FINALLY Confirmed for Guardians of the Galaxy!!!

John C. Reilly has be rumored to play someone in Guardians of the Galaxy for weeks. Everyone thought he'd be playing a S.H.I.E.L.D agent. I thought that was to much star power for a little agent. I also thought he'd be good as Rocket Raccoon. It turns out that no one was right, for he is playing a character named "Rhomann Dey."

Rhomann Dey is a pawn for the big bad boss of the galaxy, Thanos. He has super strength, a big hammer, and his armor can turn him invisible. The character first appeared in a Fantastic Four comic. If you want to know more about him. This description is from Wikipedia.

"Ronan was born on the planet Hala, the capital of the Kree Empire in the Greater Magellanic Cloud. Ronan is a member of the alien Kree race and a member of the Accuser Corps, who are the Kree equivalent of military governors and jurists. His rise through the ranks was extraordinary, and he eventually became the third-most powerful being in the Kree Empire. The Supreme Intelligence appointed him "Supreme Accuser of the Kree Empire," and in this role he is known simply as "Ronan the Accuser".

My Top 5 Movies of All time!!!

I've been thinking, and I finally made the list. The list of my favorite movies. So, without further ado, let's get into it!!!

NUMBER 5:

Harvey is one of those sweet movies, that whenever I watch it, I feel like a kid again. It's basically about a man who has an imaginary friend, who turns out to be real. The movie stars Jimmy Stewart, and a pooka named Harvey. This movie has such beautiful moments. Some where you accept the fact that there is a giant rabbit there. The movie's also a very funny film. One of my favorite parts is with the painting of Stewart and the rabbit. I won't ruin the joke, so you can see it for yourself. This movie is on Netflix, so you don't have to look very hard. It's a fun movie, that you will find very heart warming. This is a FULL PRICE!!!

NUMBER 4:

This movie is awesome! It's dark, gritty, it has amazing cinematography, and above all that, it's exciting. That's a rare quality in thriller movies now a days. The movie is about Doctor Richard Kimble (Harrison Ford). One night he comes home to see his wife brutally murdered by an unknown man. All we know about the man is that he has a fake arm. Kimble is framed for the murder and must run away to clear his name. He is chased by United States Deputy Marshal Samuel Gerard (Tommy Lee Jones). During the movie there is a lot of insane stuff going on. This movie is awesome (as I said). I never thought that Harrison Ford was that much of an actor until I saw this movie. He was so good! I give this a FULL PRICE!!!

 NUMBER 3:

Starring Robert Downey Jr before we all gave up on him. I gotta say, even though he went down hill with the drugs, he was DAMN GOOD in this movie. Oh my god, that is one of my favorite performances, next to Heath Ledger as the Joker. This is a movie about Charlie Chaplin, one of the best film makers (and actors) of all time. I cried at the end of this. This movie showed how tortured Chaplin was. He wasn't the clown that everyone thought. He wasn't someone who made fun of things just to make fun of them. He was a strange artist who didn't care what people thought, and I felt that from RDJ's performance. I'd be totally fine if RDJ put away his Iron Man suit and put on his Chaplin suit in Avengers 2 (if he's in it.) I GOTTA GO THERE!!! THIS IS A BADA$$ MOTHEREFFIN' BADA$$!!!

NUMBER 2:

Just read my review.

http://marvelblogstuff.blogspot.com/2013/01/the-avengers-written-review-by.html

I think this says it all --------
                                            v

NUMBER 1:

He's the hero Gotham deserves, but not the one we need right now. This is one of the best superhero movies of all time. It's great. It changed everything, and everyone's perception of comic book movies. People thought they were silly, to cartoony, and the costumes looked ridiculous. But then... Christopher Nolan came, and made his Batman trilogy. Here's the plot.... chaos happens. The movie is basically Batman (Christian Bale) vs Joker (the late Heath Ledger). If I were to talk about how amazing Heath Ledger was, it would take a whole essay. So, I'll just say this. He's amazing. The movie is original, it's a drama, it's an action thriller, and just... THE BATMAN I'VE ALWAYES WANTED!!!! THIS IS A BADA$$ MOTHEREFFIN' BADA$$!!!

Well that's all I got, because I want to go to bed. I'll see you guy's later, and remember to stay Justified with Justified Julius!!!

New AWESOME Wolverine Trailer!!!

......................AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM PUMPED!!!!!!

Just made this, because it's true.

Yep.

Nathan Fillion says why he isn't a Marvel Superhero... YET!

Well, it looks like the guy we really want to play as Ant-Man is saying (AGAIN) how it seems unlikely he'll be in any Marvel movie. Weird... didn't he say the exact same thing a couple years ago? Something about being tangled with "Castle" and that Hank Pym wouldn't be his first choice. Maybe I'm dreaming it.... NOPE! This was what he said a couple of years ago. He couldn't play as Ant-Man because he was working on "Castle". Look, I don't have a problem with Nathan Fillion, but it seems a little too much of a coincidence. I don't know. I just think he's a good actor, and he'd be great as Ant-Man.

This is what he said:

"Well right now I’m still pretty tied up with Castle. I have a couple years of that to go. We’re having a great time, we’re telling some great stories and we’re enjoying it. Hard to shake a stick at success. Joss and James…have done so much for me, I’m not the guy that goes knocking at their door and goes, ‘Do some more for me!’ You know what I mean?…They’re doing great stuff right now and I’m having a great time right now, so I think that once I wrap up Castle, and we get a little more free time one our hands…"

Well... that's fair enough. I respect him for saying that. I wonder who he'd want to play? If not Ant-Man, who? Who do you think he'd be good at playing? OR... Do you think anyone else could be good as Ant-Man? Comment below!

Superman Doomsday Review!!!!

Last time on the Superman! The city of Metropolis was protected by the Man of Steel himself, Superman! The kingpin of crime, Lex Luthor, was atempting to destroy the obstical to his "perfect world" which was Superman! But now doom has struck the heart of Metropolis! How will Ka-Lel of Krypton get out of this one? Check out the answer, next Bat-time, on the same Bat-Blog!

Superman: Doomsday, the animated movie that came out in 2007. This is the animated comic book movie that alot of people saw, and they also go by. Whenever someone asks me:

People: "Ok, J. Julius who'd REALLY win? Goku or Superman? Those guys don't know what they're talking about, but you do! You're the expert!"

Me: "Well, those guys at ScrewAttack.com got it right. So, I'm sticking with Superman."

People: "But, Superman can die! He died in that cartoon!"

Me: "Ok, first off, no he didn't, it was a healing coma, second, read the freaking book! It's at the library!"

I go crazy. That just shows that people will go with a movie as the original source material, than actually read the source material, but I digress. I thought I'd review this movie because I got one of those 3 movies in 1 for 9 bucks deal at Target. The movies were Green Lantern First Flight, Justice Leauge The New Frontierm and of course Superman: Doomsday. If you want me to review those two other films, just comment below! Enough of me talking nonesense! Let's get to the review!

The movie starts with Lex Luthor talking about how much he hates Superman. He says that "all gods must die."

We then see Lois Lane and Superman being romantically involved. They're keeping it secret, so none of Superman's villains will find this weakness. Lois is complaining about how they don't really know each other, and that he need's to reveal his secret identity. Although, she claims that she already knows his secret identity. Weird couple.

Meanwhile, Lexcorp workers are mining, but they find a spaceship. Luthor tells them to open it, but the creature Doomsday comes out attacking. He attacks all the way to Metropolis, and he is being pursued by the military. Lois and Superman are at the Fortress of Solitude about to get jiggy with the revealing of the identities. When Superman is about to say his name, a Superbot comes to tell him about Doomsday. Well, that was a cool 30 second back story of the monster.

Superman goes to defeat the monster, but it seems that he CAN get his ass kicked. When Doomsday is about to kill the Man of Steel, he hears a little girl crying and is about to smash the living pudding out of her.  This gives back Superman his powers, and he kills Doomsday. In the process it looks like Superman is dead.

Everyone is mourning the loss of their hero and are very sad. I'm surprised they didn't do a little nod to the "Funeral for a Friend" story. They could have had a couple of heroes. Oh well.

Ok. Long story short; Lex makes clones of Superman, Superman isn't dead, coma, Superman comes back, kicks clones ass, Superman is Clark to Lois.... Batman is awesome.

This is a cool little cartoon. I like the action, I love the intense parts, and I LOVE LOIS LANE! Her character design is beautiful! Thank you Bruce Timm! If you're going to show this to your kids, let it be known that there is some blood. Yes it is a cartoon, but it is very mature. This is a RENTAL!

Age of Ultron Book 8 Review!!!

IT'S ALMOST OVER!!!

I've kept on saying that the first five books of Age of Ultron are the best in the series. This book cements that. Let's get to what makes this issue not very cool.

We start the book where we left off, with the Helicarrier falling to the city. A little time has passed where Wolverine wakes up from the fallout. He see's Iron Man dieing on the floor. He tells Wolverine that he can't use time travel to fix his mistake, for time is fragile, and every time he travels it will hurt it alot. WHY DON'T YOU TELL THAT TO THE FREAKIN' F4!

Wolverine leaves the destroyed city, completely ignoring what he says. We cut to the same panels we saw in Book 6, where Wolverine is about to kill Hank Pym. The Wolverine we're following comes to stop other Wolverine. I got to say, it's really cool to see the Wolverine we're following in his first costume. It feels very Nostalgic. The other Wolverine even makes a joke about it.

The two Wolverines don't fight, instead they talk about what should happen. Invisible Woman comes in and says they should go to the present Reed Richards. The two Mutants say no, and they tell Hank that he needs to create Ultron. But, an Ultron he can control? WHAT?!? I thought the whole point of killing Pym was that Ultron wouldn't be created! You give him the chance to live and not create Ultron, but your telling us that he has to now??!??!?!?! WHAT THE HELL????

History time kids!!! Ultron wasn't an evil robot until Hank Pym programmed him to attack something in a certain comic book. Why don't you just tell him to NOT program Ultron that way! WHAT IS STOPPING YOU?????

Anyway, The two Wolverines, and Invisible Woman leave, but one Wolverine has to die. Who ends up being killed? The one with the most information of course! The one who's information can help in case something bad happens. Back at Pyms lab, he is creating.... *sigh* Ultron. It's a very weird version of Ultron that can turn on by itself.

This was far from my favorite comic in the series. It's coming to the point where it's just pissing me off. The art has gotten better, just by a little bit more, but besides that, I am not loving this series! This was supposed to be the event that changed the Marvel Universe forever, and why is every Marvel series using time travel??? It messes up everything!!! Now that I think of it, you didn't need books 7 and 8! In book 6, the Invisible Woman could've persuaded Wolverine to not kill him, and tell Hank the stuff they did in this comic. They could have done so much better if they went in that direction, instead of the excuse of seeing and alternate timeline. I'm giving this a LIBRARY BOOK!!!

Captain America 2 suit!!!

All I have to say is....

Beast vs Magneto!!!

COOL!

No RDJ = No Avengers 2???

Well that's something. I hope RDJ is part of this. If he isn't... well, let's see what good old Uncle Joss had to say...

"He is Iron Man," Whedon said. "He is Iron Man in the way that Sean Connery was James Bond. I have no intention of making Avengers 2 without him, nor do I think I'll be called upon to do that. I don't think it's in my interest, Marvel's interest, or his interest, and I think everything will be fine."

I hope he's right.

My Next Review!!!!

WHAT IS IT????

Benicio Del Toro joins Guardians of the Galaxy!!!

Well this is big news. Benicio Del Torro has been cast for the Guardians of the Galaxy. He is reported to be a lead. Is he a villain, a hero? Who knows. I haven't seen him in anything, so I can't say if this is good or not.
