Weekly Updates

1. Don Cheadle to appear once again.

Don Cheadle has announced in an interview that his character James Rhodes, aka War Machine, aka Iron Patriot will appear in Avengers Age of Ultron.

The question is "Will he be War Machine or Iron Patriot?"

I'd like to see Iron Patriot at first, and then see the War Machine suit.

2. Venom movie.

The long awaited Venom spin off film is finally happening! This is going to be very interesting to see. This will be the first superhero movie with out the superhero. I hope this is going to be a VERY DARK movie. It should be like that fan film on Youtube about Venom.

3. Sinister Six film.

Same as Venom, this is a Sinister Six film without Spiderman. I am very curious how a super villain team movie will work. This is going to be a lot of fun.

4. Paul Rudd as Ant-Man.

Yay. Yay. Yay. I am very happy to hear this. I think Paul Rudd will do a good job. I think he'll be a good Scott Lang, or Hank Pym. If he's Hank Pym, I hope they go the Ultimates way. Hank Pym in that book is a real prick, and I've seen Rudd play a prick.

That's all until next time.

Here's the Fan Film. :)

Terrance Howard explains what happened with Iron Man

We finally know what happened between Terrence Howard and Marvel.

Terrence Howard was on the Bravo T.V. show called "Watch What Happens Live!" with host Andy Cohen. Howard was asked why he wasn't in the other Iron Man suits. He responded with:

"It turns out in order for - this is going to get me in a lot of trouble - it turns out that the person that I helped become Iron Man ... when it was time to re-up for the second one, took the money that was supposed to go to me and pushed me out."
"The word was that you wanted the same money as Downey," said Cohen.

“We did a three picture deal, so that means that you did the deal ahead of time. There was going to be a certain amount for the first one, a certain amount for the second, and a certain amount for the third. They came to me with the second and said, "Look, we will pay you one eighth of what we contractually had for you, because we think the second one will be successful with or without you. I called 'my friend' that I helped get the first job, and he didn't call me back for three months,''

Cohen asked how his relationship with his "friend" was now. Terrence responded maliciously with:

"Oh I love him, God's going to bless him."

I think it's interesting that Howard didn't mention what he thought about Don Cheadle's performance, or that he took the role. I'm sure there are other sides to this debacle. I hope Marvel, Robert Downey Jr., and Kevin Fiege respond back to this publicly because I really want to hear their side of this story.

Thor The Dark World Review

This review is dedicated to my good friends Grant, Theron, and Jacob (Sonny).

WARNING: THERE WILL BE SPOILERS IN THIS REVIEW. PLEASE DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE FILM. If you don't care please enjoy.

It's time for one of the biggest superhero movies of the year! How does this movie hold up on it's own against big budget movies such as: Iron Man 3, Man of Steel, and Star Trek Into Darkness? I think it holds up ok, and is a good sequel to Thor and The Avengers. This movie has so many funny and awesome moments in it. I do have some problems with the humor though.

In the first Thor, the humor was fine. I liked it, and some of the lines made me laugh hard. With this, there are some funny scenes that felt out of place. For example, when Loki "dies" there were people in my audience who were really shocked and surprised. After that emotional gut punch there's a scene where they're making jokes about it. I would've been ok with it if they didn't make this movie much darker than the last movie. Those scenes just felt like they belonged in a different movie.

The acting in this film is good. Chris Hemsworth is always good as Thor, Anthony Hopkins is a good Odin, but who really shines in this movie? Tom Hiddleston as Loki. That guy owns that role. He is fantastic. This was his best portrayal of that character in his career. Whenever I saw him on screen, I was invested, I cared, and at some points I was a bit terrified by his performance. He has presence, this "force push" in his acting that just gets to you.

I feel like I'm going straight into Galactus' stomach for loving Loki in this movie. Everyone loves Loki, but I find my self asking my self... "Did you all forget what this guy has done?" To quote the Black Widow "He killed 300 people in 2 days." There's loving a "bad boy", then there's supporting a terrorist.

Action scenes in this movie. Those scenes are mind blowing. I'm still speechless.

This movie had pros, and it had some cons, but I love the movie. I really like everything in this movie. If you're going to see this movie, pay FULL PRICE, you're going to have a good time. Have a nice THORS-DAY.

Pacific Rim Review

Umm.... what was was all the hype about? I understand that a lot of people were excited for the robots fighting the monsters, but other than that... there isn't anything engaging in this movie.

Many have told me not to judge this movie as an actual movie, but as a 2 and a half hour video game. My response to that is.... not going to happen.

Guillermo Del Torro, Warner Bros, and Legendary Pictures released this as an actual film, it took peoples money to see something on a big screen, like a film, so it will be judged as a film.

What were my thoughts on this giant anime with a budget?

It was long, it had pretty visual effects, and it was boring. Other than the fight scenes, this movie isn't good. There are cliches, stupid characters, and too many sub plots for one movie.

But that isn't why you went to see this movie! You saw it to see Giant Monsters fighting Giant Robots. How is that part of the movie, you ask?

It's cool. It's cool. The special effects were really good, but unfortunately most of the fights in this movie are shot in the dark, so you can't really tell what's going on.

As I said, I thought the movie was long, boring, but it had cool fight scenes and robots.

I think you should see this just for the fight scenes, so this is a RENTAL!

X-Men Days Of Future Past trailer

I mean... it's an ok trailer...
If this is the Avengers of the X-Men franchise, where's that big team up feeling?
Maybe when I see the movie itself it will change my mind.

Captain America Teaser

Was he wearing a parachute? No. No he wasn't. Nice little Ultimates nod. :) AWESOME TRAILER.

Black Panther is in Development

Yesterday, Kevin Fiege was in an interview talking about Loki, and Black Panther. He said Black Panther is a film that is currently in development. It most likely will be a Phase 3 project. They get his movie after Ant-Man and set him up for Avengers 3.

What I think they could do:

They show Black Panther doing his thing in the kingdom of Wakanda. S.H.I.E.L.D knows that they can get vibranium from there, so they send some of there men to get it. One of these men are Doctor Claw. Doctor Claw and his men are more like poachers instead of actual scientists. They abuse there power, and Black Panther has to stop them.

He fights some guys from S.H.I.E.L.D (maybe they can show some of the agents from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D), then he has his boss battle with Doctor Claw. When he wins Nick Fury comes down to Wakanda and apologizes for this, and asks him to be part of his team.

That would be cool.

My Top 10 Favorite Villains of all time

Since there isn't much news coming out, I thought I would just post my favorite villains of all time. So enjoy my opinion, for it's all subjective.

NUMBER 10:
Khan from Star Trek The Wrath of Khan. I loved the way this character was portrayed in one of the best Star Trek films of all time. Ricardo Montalban played this character with such passion, and it was clear he had a great time returning to his role from the original Star Trek episode "Space Seed." He was equally threatening as he was enjoyable to watch. He was on this list the first time I saw him on the screen.

NUMBER 9:

Red Skull from Captain America the First Avenger. I really love this villain. I thought he was a lot of fun (although he was a Nazi), and Hugo Weaving  was great, over the top, and just evil. It's a shame that Hugo Weaving was talking down to the role and a lot of other roles like this. Doesn't make that much sense though... Oh well, Skully's on this list.

NUMBER 8:

Gooooood. Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooood. Emperor Panda Bear from Star Wars Episode 6: Return of the Jedi. Whenever I watch Episode 6, the parts I love the most are the scenes with the Emperor. The reason is because of all the build up that led up to him in the last two movies. At first he looks like some crusty old guy, then when he stands up and attacks, he is one of the most threatening guys in the room.

NUMBER 7:

The Slender Man. This character is a recent Internet meme that was created on the Something Awful forums. The user who created him was Victor Surge. Since then the mysterious monster has gained popularity in pop culture. He had a game last year called SLENDER THE EIGHT PAGES, and he had a game this year called SLENDER THE ARRIVAL. The reason he is on this list is because I get really scared by this dude. In the games, all you do is go through out the woods and look for eight pages. When you get the first page you hear loud footsteps in the distance. When the Slender Man is near you, your screen will get distorted, and you will hear a lot of loud noises.

Other than the future nightmares, this character is really cool. Check out Marble Hornets, download the free games, and just look into this character because I love him as a a creepy pasta.

NUMBER 6:

General Zod from Superman II. I know in my Man of Steel review I went a little over board with the love of the Michael Shannon General Zod. It took me a while to realize, though I love the new Zod, Terrance Stamp's Zod is the more entertaining portrayal. I love this character because he is so comic book. His dialogue is over the top, his costume is ridiculous, and he's just so much fun to quote.

I love Michael Shannon as Zod, but it's all about the Stamp.

NUMBER 5:

Magneto from all the X-MEN films. This character has all ways been cool to me. He was threatening, classy, and bada$$. When you get an awesome old a$$ kicker like Magneto, who do you get to play him? Gandalf and the guy who's going to play Macbeth next year. Sir Ian McKellen has played the role of Magneto in every X-MEN movie, except for First Class and X-MEN ORIGINS WOLVERINE. Most of the X-MEN movies suck, but one of the very few highlights of them were always Sir McKellen's performance as Magneto. Michael Fassbender played a younger version of Magneto in X-MEN FIRST CLASS and will be playing the same roll in the upcoming film X-MEN DAYS OF FUTURE PAST.

I love both of these performances, but I can't decide which one I love more........

NUMBER 4:

And the fan girls go insane. Although I don't understand where all the love for Loki came from, I do love this character and Tom Hiddleston's performance. I really liked him in Thor. He was a tragic character who fell into the abyss, for his jealousy of his brother clouded his judgement. When I saw him in The Avengers, I forgot about him in Thor. That's where I started to love him. He was bada$$, angry, tortured, and just insane. I cannot wait to see him in Thor: The Dark World, just so I know where his story goes. I really have a thing for over the top villains, don't I?

NUMBER 3:

Say his name. People will keep saying his name for a long time. This guy is my favorite character on a T.V show ever. Heisenberg aka Walter White from Breaking Bad is one of the most fascinating characters I have ever seen. The great thing about this character is that you get to see how he becomes this villain. He is constantly doing the wrong thing, but he's doing them for good reasons. There is so much conflict, stress, pain, and great writing in him.
Bryan Cranston plays Heisenberg and W.W. beautifully. When you see him in an episode you want more of him. You want to see where his acting talents will lead him. It's lead him to great places. I will always remember our friendly neighborhood meth cook.

NUMBER 2:

Oh yeah. The biggest bada$$ in the galaxy (other than Boba Fett) is on my list. When you get Bane's mask, Batman's cape, and the voice of Mufasa, you get DARTH VADER. I was watching the original trilogy recently, and I remember how much this guy was awesome. He had the voice, the black, and the force.

This guy is so awesome, he kills people in the Empire, because he can. He is most threatening in Empire Strikes Back, and that's mostly because of James Earl Jones's voice. No one can do the Darth Vader voice, like him. Many have tried, but most have failed. That's just a voice you can't beat. If you don't like this character, I find your lack of faith disturbing.

NUMBER 1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love all of the Jokers. That's all I have to say, and that's all I'm going to say.

I hope you enjoyed this opportunity to fanboy. What are your top 10 villains of all time? Comment and share the post!
